The connecting pole is divided and a combination pole is placed between the divided parts for connection or separation, the operating rod is able to be folded to enable the connecting pole to be folded in half for convenient storage and carrying when the pruner is not used, and a proper length is maintained through a length adjusting device when the length of the operating rod is changed.
