PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable underpants type wearing article which does not have any difference in the appearance between a front waist region side and a back waist region side and can exert required absorption performance and fitness.SOLUTION: A disposable underpants type wearing article 10 includes a lateral axis Q which divides a dimension in a longitudinal direction Y into two equal parts, a first section 10A located on a side of a first waist region 13 from the lateral axis Q, and a second section 10B located on a side of a second waist region 14 from the lateral axis Q when the connection at side edge parts of the first and the second waist regions 13, 14 is disconnected and expanded. A configuration of a liquid absorbing structure 18 in the first section 10A and a configuration of the liquid absorbing structure 18 in the second section 10B are symmetrical to the lateral axis Q.
