This disclosure is directed to a catheter having a dual multiray electrodeassembly at the distal end of the catheter body formed from a plurality ofspines withelectrodes and a dual multiray electrode assembly at the distal end of thecatheter body.The dual multiray electrode assembly may have a proximal multiray array and adistalmultiray array, each array comprising a plurality of spines connected at oneend. Thedual multiray electrode assembly may have an expanded configuration and acollapsedconfiguration wherein the spines are arranged generally along a longitudinalaxis of thecatheter body.
