The present invention provides a method of treating ataxia side effects associated with administration of levodopa to a subject with Parkinson's disease by administering a fixed dose of eltoprazine or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof. In particular, the present invention provides a method for reducing dyskinesia associated with the treatment of Parkinson's disease as well as an effective dose of eltoprazine or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.本発明は一定用量のエルトプラジン又はその薬学的に許容される酸付加塩を投与することによって、パーキンソン病を有する対象へのレボドパの投与に伴う運動不全副作用を処置する方法を提供する。特に、本発明はパーキンソン病の処置に伴うジスキネジアを軽減するための方法並びに有効用量のエルトプラジン又はその薬学的に許容される酸付加塩を提供する。
