PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a UV-ray absorbing resin particle dispersion for cosmetic materials excellent in UV-ray absorbability and transparency.SOLUTION: The method for producing the UV-ray absorbing resin particle dispersion for cosmetic materials comprises a process for removing a residual monomer component from particles obtained by emulsion polymerizing a monomer mixture containing a UV-ray absorbing monomer, a process for subsequently redispersing the particles in a solvent having higher affinity to the composition of the particles and a process for substituting the solvent with an optional solvent.
