1. A method of suppressing an inflammatory or autoimmune disease in a subject in need thereof, comprising administering at least one RhoB inhibitor to said subject. A method according to claim 1, comprising administering a composition comprising at least one RhoB inhibitor and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The method of claim 1, wherein said RhoB inhibitor is an RhoB peptide. A method according to claim 1, characterized in that said RhoB inhibitor is an anti-RhoB antibody or fragment thereof. The method of claim 1, wherein said RhoB inhibitor is an antibody or fragment thereof immunologically specific for SEQ ID NO: 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, or 8.6. The method of claim 5, wherein said RhoB inhibitor is an antibody immunologically specific for SEQ ID NO: 8.7. The method of claim 5, wherein said RhoB inhibitor is an antibody immunologically specific for SEQ ID NO: 1.8. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the indicated autoimmune or inflammatory disease is rheumatoid arthritis.
