The present invention addresses the problem of providing a hair cosmetic composition obtained by mixing and foaming a plurality of agents by means of shaking, said hair cosmetic composition improving foam retention after mixing and foaming, without the associated problems caused by making the agents highly viscous in advance. In order to solve the abovementioned problem, a hair cosmetic composition obtained by mixing and foaming a plurality of agents by means of shaking is provided, said plurality of agents including an acidic agent containing one or more types of anionic polymers selected from acrylic acid polymers, and the mixture of said plurality of agents becoming alkaline.
