A fitness monitor having an integrated wristband configured to receive a module, e.g., an electronic module, is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the fitness monitor includes a module, e.g., an electronic module, comprising a housing having a first thickness. The fitness monitor also includes an integral wristband configured to be worn on the wearer's wrist. The integrated wristband includes a housing receiving structure configured to receive a housing of the module such that the combination of the housing receiving structure and the housing has a second thickness wherein the second thickness is at least substantially the same as the first thickness.
