The present invention discloses an endoscopic image capture system and a method thereof. The system comprises an endoscopic capsule device, a wireless dongle device and a portable electronic device. The endoscopic capsule device can be used tocapture a plurality of images after being swallowed into human gastrointestinal tract. The wireless dongle device can be used to receive the plurality of images captured by the endoscopic capsule device through the wirelesstransmission.The portable electronic device can be connected with the wireless dongle device through wire or wireless mode to receive and store the images, and the portable electronic device can provide the power to the wireless dongle device. Moreover, the portable electronic device has the function of image processing used to execute the imageanalysis for the captured images.
