PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of pulse wave detection accuracy.SOLUTION: A pulse wave detection device 10 acquires a camera image of a living body photographed by a camera. The pulse wave detection device 10 extracts a partial image of a living body area from the camera image. The pulse wave detection device 10 further acquires the information on a screen image displayed on a screen of a predetermined display part. The pulse wave detection device 10 separates the brightness of the partial image into screen light brightness originating from the screen image and remaining brightness, using the brightness of the screen image. The pulse wave detection device 10 detects a pulse wave using the screen light brightness and the remaining brightness.
