The cosmetic composition according to the present invention is directed to a water-in-oil type cosmetic composition containing a film former in an external phase, the composition being characterized by further containing a thickener in an internal phase. The thickener serves to form a kind of a bridge between the skin and the film former in an external phase, of which the affinity with the skin may deteriorate.
