PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a brake from being released by entwining of a string or the like, and further improve the travelling safety of a mobile type X-ray imaging device.SOLUTION: A mobile type X-ray imaging device 100 includes: a truck 110 having wheels 112 and 113 driven by motors 118 and 119 for travelling, and brakes 116 and 117 for performing a brake operation to stop travelling； an X-ray imaging device 160 mounted on the truck 110； a handle mechanism 120 mounted on the truck 110 for performing an operation to control the travelling of the truck including the brake operation of the brakes 116 and 117； human body detection sensors 222, 224, etc. provided to the handle mechanism 120 for detecting a human body； and a control part 200 mounted on the truck for controlling the motors 118 and 119 for travelling, and the brakes 116 and 117. The control part 200 executes control to release the brake operation of the brakes 116 and 117 on condition that the human body is detected by the output of the human body detection sensors provided to the handle mechanism 120.
