The present invention belongs to the cosmetic field, and relates to a cosmetic composition, a transparent packaging containing the cosmetic composition, hydrophobic flakes and use of alcohol (s) in production of the hydrophobic flakes. Specifically, the present invention discloses a cosmetic composition comprising an aqueous phase containing one or more alcohols and hydrophobic flakes, wherein said hydrophobic flakes are suspended in the aqueous phase and wherein the hydrophobic flakes comprise one or more fatty alcohols with a melting point between 35°C to 60°C at a pressure of 1013 hPa.
