The present invention relates to an apparatus for protecting teeth, and more particularly, for preventing dental-related diseases, such as cavities and gum infection in advance. To achieve the aim above, the present invention protects teeth from continuous intake of food through a predetermined apparatus for protecting teeth that is put over the upper jaw and the lower jaw so as to encase same, instead of a scaling procedure, which is regularly required for protecting teeth. According to the present invention, plaque, which builds up on the rear side of the teeth and cannot be resolved just by brushing the teeth, can be prevented in advance, thereby promoting healthy oral hygiene.The present invention is a prosthesis having a teeth model but which aims to protect the rear surface of the teeth, wherein the apparatus for protecting teeth is formed by casting a modified prosthesis using a ceramic material that covers all of the teeth, and comprises an oblong cross section that is approximately a dash shape, which includes a metal support rod (10) that is horizontally fixed at approximately half of the height of a teeth rear surface cover member (1), and the shape of the teeth rear surface cover member is fixed to normal teeth by means of a steel hook (20) in the form of an upside-down "U," which is sideways and positioned at the end of the metal support rod (10) so as to hook onto two innermost teeth (from the drawing) in the molar portion, and the shape of the teeth rear surface cover member (1) is formed by casting so that the gap between the teeth is integrally coupled, thereby providing compression resistance to a load on a front axis of masticatory function, as well as an enhanced integral sensation by the apparatus being provided so as not to become dislocated from side impact.
