The present invention relates to a novel bacteriophage, more particularly, a bacteriophage that has a specific bactericidal activity against Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella typhimurium, Salmonella gallinarum and Salmonella pullorum, a composition for the prevention or treatment of infectious diseases including salmonellosis and Salmonella food poisoning caused by Salmonella enteritidis or Salmonella typhimurium, Fowl typhoid caused by Salmonella gallinarum, and Pullorum disease caused by Salmonella pullorum, which comprises the bacteriophage as an active ingredient, and an animal feed, drinking water, cleaner, and sanitizer which comprise the bacteriophage as an active ingredient.본 발명은 살모넬라 엔테리티디스(Salmonellaenteritidis), 살모넬라 티피뮤리움(Salmonellatyphimurium), 살모넬라 갈리나룸(Salmonellagallinarum) 또는 살모넬라 플로럼(Salmonella pullorum)을 특이적으로 사멸시킬 수 있는 신규 박테리오파지, 상기 박테리오파지를 유효성분으로 포함하는 살모넬라 엔테리티디스 또는 살모넬라 티피뮤리움에 의해 유발되는 살모넬라증과 살모넬라 식중독, 살모넬라 갈리나룸에 의하여 유발되는 가금티푸스, 살모넬라 플로럼에 의해 유발되는 추백리 등의 감염성 질병의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물, 상기 박테리오파지를 유효성분으로 포함하는 가축용 사료, 음용수, 세척제 및 소독제에 관한 것이다.
