PURPOSE: A composition containing Diospyros blancoi A. DC. extract or fraction thereof is provided to prevent and delay aging. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for anti-aging contains Diospyros blancoi A. DC. extract or fraction thereof as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using water, low carbon number alcohol, or a mixture solvent thereof. The fraction is prepared by fractioning the extract with n-hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, n-butanol, and water in order. A pharmaceutical composition for anti-aging contains the extract or fraction as an active ingredient. A health functional food composition for anti-aging contains the extract or fraction as an active ingredient.본 발명은 벨벳애플(Diospyrosblancoi A. DC.) 추출물 또는 이의 분획물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 노화방지 및 지연용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 본 발명의 벨벳애플 추출물은 농도의존적으로 DPPH 자유라디칼 소거 효과 및 ABTS 자유라디칼 소거 효과를 나타내었으며, 특히 벨벳애플 에틸아세테이트 및 부탄올 분획물이 탁월한 항산화 효과를 나타내었으므로, 노화방지 및 지연용 화장료 조성물, 약학적 조성물 및 건강식품용 조성물의 유효성분으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
