Extract and/or fraction from Cinnamomum burmanii (DLBS2411) related to its extraction method and its biological activities show activities as antiulcer by conferring mucoprotection and down-regulating H+/K+ ATPase. Treatment with DLBS2411 decreases the H+/K+ ATPase mRNA level in HEK 293 and gastric parietal cells. In addition, DLBS2411 inhibits activity of H+/K+ ATPase gastric enzyme wherein pH influences this inhibition mechanism. DLBS2411 also has characteristic as antioxidant which is shown by the increase of reducing power as the given dosage increases.La présente invention concerne un extrait et/ou une fraction de Cinnamomum burmanii (DLBS2411) associés à son procédé dextraction et ses activités biologiques présentent des activités en tant quanti-ulcère en conférant une mucoprotection et la régulation à la baisse de H+/K+ ATPase. Le traitement avec DLBS2411 diminue le taux dARNm de H+/K+ ATPase dans des cellules HEK 293 et pariétales gastriques. De plus, DLBS2411 inhibe lactivité de lenzyme gastrique H+/K+ ATPase où le pH influence ce mécanisme dinhibition. DLBS2411 possède également une caractéristique dantioxydant qui est mise en évidence par laugmentation de la réduction de pouvoir lorsque la dose administrée augmente.
