PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device that reduces an increase in temperature inside a light source unit by a light component of an unnecessary wavelength that is not used for observation light.SOLUTION: A light source device includes: a first LED 51 for emitting irradiation light OP1 for normal light observation a second LED 52 for emitting irradiation light OP2 for special light observation a radiation fin 57 for radiating the heat generated in the first LED 51 and the second LED 52 a heat pipe 56 for transmitting the heat to the radiation fin 57 and an optical filter 78 that can be disposed on an optical path of the irradiation light OP1 for normal light observation for transmitting the incident irradiation light OP1 for normal light observation and reflecting the incident irradiation light OP2 for special light observation.
