PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the processing time for alignment.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus 100 images a region (such as a chest organ) moving with breathing at every breathing stop period in time series. An image data selection part 39a of the X-ray CT apparatus 100 selects at least one of image data representing each image data group from the image data groups at every breathing stop period. Subsequently, an alignment part 39c performs alignment between the image data included in different breathing stop periods using the selected image data.
