The present invention aims to provide a purification column having excellent performance to remove substances to be removed. Further, the present invention aims to provide a method for producing the purification column described above. The above object can be achieved with a purification column comprising a cylindrical casing having partition walls formed at both side ends, the casing containing therein hollow fibers whose both ends are fixed by bonding to the partition walls such that the both ends open to the outside of the partition walls, wherein penetrating holes that penetrate the partition walls to communicate with the inside and outside of the casing are formed in the partition walls at both ends of the casing.
