The present invention relates, at least in part, to a tool that can indicate the presence of moisture. An embodiment of the present invention includes providing a dispersion in which a coloring material is solid-dispersed in a hydrophilic polyurethane material. The present invention is particularly, but not exclusively, related to devices that include foam (eg, hydrophilic polyurethane foam) and a color former. Embodiments of the invention also include methods and other objects using the device.
