A carrying device for attachment to an item of clothing such as a belt is disclosed. The carrying device includes a loop portion 3 formed from a flexible material such as neoprene. There is also a clip 5 connected to the loop 3 to attach it to an item of clothing generally a belt. There is also a container 13 which is removably attachable within the loop which circumscribes and retains the container in position whilst allowing it to be easily removed for emptying. The container 13 may be rigid and kidney shaped.
