PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power source circuit capable of emitting treatment light energy of a desired amount for light-based dermatological treatment device.SOLUTION: A switching power source drives a flash lamp 112 of dermatological treatment equipment to discharge a relatively small light pulse sequence positioned to a specific point in a waveform of an AC radiation source. The power source can not only supply aggregate light energy sufficient to therapeutically heat a target chromophoric group in a skin area without giving any undesirable damage to surrounding tissues, but also provide an additional advantage that it is virtually not necessary to acquire corresponding electrical energy from a charged capacitor. Further, the power source corrects the operation based on a predetermined value indicating aging/efficiency characteristics of the flash lamp so as to correct the performance deterioration of the lamp in the service life of the flash lamp.【課題】光に基づいた皮膚科治療装置のための所望する量の治療光エネルギーを放出可能なスイッチング電源回路を提供する。【解決手段】スイッチング電源は、皮膚科治療装置のフラッシュランプ１１２を駆動させて、交流線源の波形における特定の地点に位置あわせされた比較的小さい光パルスシーケンスを放出させる。電源は、周囲の組織に望ましくない損傷を与えることなく、皮膚領域の標的発色団を治療的に加熱するのに十分な総計光エネルギーを供給可能なだけでなく、対応する電気エネルギーを実質的に荷電コンデンサから得る必要がないという付加的利点を提供する。さらに、電源はその動作をフラッシュランプの老化/効率特性を示す所定の値に基づいて修正することによって、フラッシュランプの有効寿命においてそれらランプの性能低下を補正する。【選択図】図１
