PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the frequency of re-photographing by suppressing disappearance of image information and suppress unnecessary radiation irradiation to a subject.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus of a radiation image having a radiation sensor, and communication means for communicating with an external device includes: a volatile memory which temporarily stores radiation image data obtained by the radiation sensor； a non-volatile memory which stores the radiation image data transferred from the volatile memory； and control means which permits the next imaging in accordance with the completion of any one of transfer of the radiation image data to the external device by the communication means and transfer of the radiation image data to the non-volatile memory from the volatile memory.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
