A device (100) adapted for use in a minimally invasive medical procedure, the device comprising: an elongated body (200) having a proximal end (202) and a tapered distal end (204), said elongated body (200) being configured to be inserted into an animal body from a surface of said animal body through the body tissue to a target site in said animal body, the elongated body (200) having at least two longitudinal lights extending along a longitudinal axis of the same; a first longitudinal light (206; 206a) extending along the elongated body to a hole in the distal end (204); a second longitudinal light (214) having a first imaging element disposed therein, said first imaging element and said second longitudinal light having a proximal and a distal end, said first imaging element including a first ultrasonic transducer (210) at the distal end of said second longitudinal and proximal lumen from the tapered distal end (204) of the elongated body (200) to provide a zone (301) of forward directed imaging in a direction of the distal end (204) of the elongated body ( 200) to include the tapered distal end (304) of the elongated body; and a removable introducer needle (208) disposed within the first longitudinal light (206) and movable through the hole at the distal end to a position beyond the tapered distal end of the elongated body, the removable introducer needle (208) being within of said forward directed imaging area (301) of said first ultrasonic transducer when extending from the tapered distal end (204) and configured to pierce the tissue of the animal body, said first imaging element configured to provide forward directed anatomical imaging of the removable introducer needle (208) in a direction of said tapered distal end of said elongated body, the forward anatomical imaging to guide the device to said target site, characterized in that the first longitudinal light extends to a hole in the center of tapered distal end.Un dispositivo (100) adaptado para uso en un pr
