1. A composition effective against gastro -intestinal disorders, comprising as essential ingredients (i) bismuth et ammonium citrate, (ii) aluminium citrate and (iii) nux vomica, characterized in that the said essential ingredients are present in the composition in the following amounts: (i) bismuth et ammonium citrate - 26-28% by wt., (ii) aluminium citrate - 23-25% by wt., (iii) nux vomica - 1.90-2% by wt. Alongwith other ingredients as enumerated below: (iv) dill oil - 1.40 -1.60% by wt., (v) chloroform - 3.0 -4.0% by wt., (vi) saccharine sodium - 0.9 -1.0% by wt., (vii) caramel colour - 37.0 -39.0% by wt. and (viii) DM water - q. s.
