PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyeless needle having a blind hole with a stable shape, which makes the work of inserting a suture thread into the blind hole easier.SOLUTION: The eyeless needle A has the blind hole 3 for connecting the suture thread to a base end face 1. After mechanically chamfering the peripheral edge of the blind hole 3 formed on the base end face 1, the base end face 1 is irradiated with laser light to form curved chamber parts in the peripheral edge 6 of the blind hole 3 and the outer peripheral edge 9 of the base end face 1.
