A method is performed in a mobile device through execution of a first mobile application for monitoring use of a hygiene product worn by a wearer. The method includes providing information related to the hygiene product based on the voiding behaviour of the product-wearer. Furthermore, the method includes retrieving, from a database shared by a plurality of different mobile applications, information that is relevant to the voiding behaviour of the wearer, obtained by at least a second mobile application that is different than the first mobile application, and providing the product-related information based on the retrieved information. The access to voiding relevant information obtained by other mobile applications allows the first mobile application to provide well-founded recommendations to the product-wearer as to the use of the hygiene product.La présente invention concerne un procédé qui est réalisé dans un dispositif mobile (1) par exécution d'une première application mobile pour surveiller l'utilisation d'un produit d'hygiène (12) porté par un porteur (17). Le procédé comprend l'étape de fourniture d'informations associées au produit d'hygiène sur la base du comportement urinaire du porteur du produit. En outre, le procédé comprend l'étape de récupération, à partir d'une base de données (8) partagée par une pluralité d'applications mobiles différentes (A1-A4), d'informations qui concernent le comportement urinaire du porteur, obtenues au moyen d'au moins une seconde application mobile qui est différente de ladite première application mobile, et de fourniture des informations associées au produit sur la base des informations récupérées. L'accès aux informations associées au comportement urinaire obtenues par d'autres applications mobiles permet à la première application mobile de fournir des recommandations bien fondées au porteur du produit de façon à utiliser le produit d'hygiène.
