PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher which is improved in threshing performance by making air generated in a threshing chamber stably flow to a prescribed direction by the rotation of threshing teeth, in the thresher comprising: a threshing cylinder which is rotationally driven around a rotating shaft in a vertical direction and the threshing teeth which are aligned in parallel along an axial direction of the threshing cylinder.SOLUTION: A thresher comprises: a threshing cylinder 6 which is rotationally driven around a rotating shaft 31 in a vertical direction and a transfer body 4 which holds and transfers plant food sides. A plurality of the threshing teeth 32A aligned in parallel along the rotating shaft 31 of the threshing cylinder 6 and forming a comb shape are arranged at the external peripheral face side of the threshing cylinder 6, and a rotation direction of the threshing cylinder 6 is set so that the moving direction of the threshing teeth 32A at the transfer body 4 side becomes a direction opposite to a transfer direction of grain culms by the transfer body 4.
