PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the longitudinal balance of the center of gravity of the entire driving rice-transplanting machine having a planting apparatus connected backward, by locating the front end of a transmission case backward of an imaginary tangent line of a front wheel which connects the front end of a machine body with the front part of the front wheel. SOLUTION: The front end of a transmission case 5 is located directly under an engine 2. The front end of the transmission case 5 is also located backward of an imaginary tangent line L of a front wheel 7 which connects the front end of a machine body with the front part of the front wheel 7. The rear end of the transmission case 5 is located in the vicinity of, and specifically, directly under, the rear end of a bonnet 4. Thus, the center of gravity of the transmission case 5 is longitudinally located forward of a front axle cases 6, 6, and vertically located downward of an upper frame 1. Thus, the longitudinal balance of the center of gravity and safety of a driving rice-transplanting machine are enhanced, thereby improving a steering operation and planting efficiency.
