PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide preparation of treated water fortified with micronutrients.SOLUTION: A process for preparation of treated water fortified with micronutrients comprises pre-treating and sterilizing water into a pure permeate. The permeate is passed through ozonator for further sterilizing the water and thereafter is deozonized to produce on-line sterile water. The treated water is fortified by dosing the flowing water on line with at least one bioavailable micronutrient and/or sanitizing agent.
