The present invention relates to a method for measuring a stress index using an image which comprises the following steps: a computer device detects a skin region from an image； the computer device detect a pulse wave signal by using color data of the skin region； the computer device generates a tachogram on a pulse interval from the pulse wave signal； and the computer device measures a final stress index based on at least one of a first stress index measured based on an activity of a reference frequency band in a frequency region of the tachogram and a second stress index measured based on the pulse interval in the tachogram.영상을 이용한 스트레스 지수 산출 방법은 컴퓨터 장치가 영상에서 피부 영역을 검출하는 단계, 상기 컴퓨터 장치가 상기 피부 영역의 색상 데이터를 이용하여 맥파 신호를 검출하는 단계, 상기 컴퓨터 장치가 상기 맥파 신호로부터 심박 간격에 대한 태코 그램(Tachogram)을 생성하는 단계 및 상기 컴퓨터 장치가 상기 태코 그램의 주파수 영역에서 기준 주파수 대역의 활성도를 기준으로 산출되는 제1 스트레스 지수 및 상기 태코 그램에서 심박 간격을 기준으로 산출되는 제2 스트레스 지수 중 적어도 하나를 기준으로 최종 스트레스 지수를 산출하는 단계를 포함한다.
