PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a morbidity state of a tissue which has become a target of ultrasonic diagnosis to be intuitively grasped.

SOLUTION: Information for subject explanation 67 is displayed other than an ultrasonic image 64. The information 67 includes a reference model image 66 of the subject and a healthy model image 68. Color in the reference model image 66 is determined by an evaluation value in the tissue character and a shape (surface shape) in the reference model image 66 is determined on the basis of the evaluation value of the shape of the target tissue. The healthy model image 68 is an image representing the target tissue of a healthy person.
