A sleeve 104 for use with a foot comprising a compression portion which applies compression to a midfoot region of the foot. The foot sleeve further comprises a raised heel support portion 110 for abutment to the base of the heel region of the foot and a ball portion 116 for abutment with the ball region of the foot. Wherein the thickness of the raised heel support portion is greater than the thickness of the ball portion. The sleeve may be formed from texitle material. The sleeve may comprise a first high compression portion and a second high compression portion arranged to abut the rear of the foot. The sleeve may also comprise a low compression portion about the heel portion which may be provided bewtween the first and second high compression portion. The heel support portion may comprise a disc 112 which could be an elongate disc and could be a moulded polymer disc. The disc may comprise an oval shape which may have its widest point towards the heel end of the support potion.
