UTILISATION DE CELLULES MORTES PROVENANT D'UN TRAITEMENT PHOTODYNAMIQUE A BASE DE RHODAMINE POUR TRAITER OU PREVENIR DES AFFECTIONS IMMUNOLOGIQUES, DES INFECTIONS ET DES CANCERS
The present invention relates to the use of PDT-treated cells (whole orfragments thereof) and/or supernatant thereof in the preparation of vaccinesfor immunoprotection or immunomodulation. More particularly, the use of PDT-treated cells (whole or fragments thereof) and/or supernatant thereof in thepreparation of an immunologic compound for prevention, protection, prophylaxisor treatment of an immunological disorder, infection and/or a cancer in anindividual, which comprises treatment of the individual cells or componentsthereof with a photoactivatable molecule selected from the group consisting ofcompounds I to XVIII, wherein the photoactivatable molecule is activated by alight of appropriate wavelength, thereby activating the photoactivatablemolecule and causing prevention, protection, prophylaxis or treatment of theimmunological disorder, infection and/or a cancer.
