A medication dispenser (10) includes a base seat (2), a circuitry unit (4) and an outer casing (7) . The base seat (2) includes a mouthpiece (23). The circuitry unit (4) includes a first circuit board (411), a battery (416), and first and second switches (424, 425) disposed on the first circuit board (411). The outer casing (7) is movable relative to the base seat (2) between a close position where the outer casing (7) covers the mouthpiece (23) and where the first switch (424) is actuated such that electric power is prevented from being supplied from the battery (416) to the first circuitboard (411), and an open position where the outer casing (7) uncovers the mouthpiece (23) and where the second switch (425) is actuated such that electric power is supplied from the battery (416) to the first circuit board (411).
