The purpose of the present invention is to provide a water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic in which Pickering emulsification is used, wherein the water-in-oil-type emulsion cosmetic provides both exceptional emulsion stability and an excellent feel on use without using a fine powder that causes a squeaky feeling. The present invention pertains to a water-in-oil-type emulsion composition containing (a) an oil phase, (b) a water phase, and (c) a powder having an average grain size of 1-100 [mu]m, wherein: the angle (three phase contact angle) formed by the oil-water interface of the (a) oil phase and water, a surface including a tangent of the powder surface at the point of contact with the (c) powder layer, and the oil-water interface is greater than 0 DEG and less than 160 DEG; and the (b) water phase has rheological characteristics such that the loss modulus at a strain of 0.01-1% is 80 Pa or higher. The present invention also pertains to a cosmetic comprising said composition.本發明之目的在於提供一種油中水型乳化化妝料,其係使用固體顆粒乳化者,且不使用導致乾澀感之微小粉末,兼具優異之乳化穩定性與良好之使用感觸。本發明係關於一種油中水型乳化組合物以及包含該組合物之化妝料,該油中水型乳化組合物係包含(a)油相、(b)水相、及(c)平均粒徑1~100 μm之粉體者,且上述(a)油相與水之油水界面和上述(c)粉體層之接點處的包含該粉體表面之切線之面與上述油水界面所成之角(三相接觸角)大於0°且未達160°,上述(b)水相具有應變0.01~1%時之損失彈性模數為80 Pa以上之流變特性。
