PURPOSE: A composition containing novel chalcone compound pyrazolylnaphthalenol derivatives for preventing and treating cardiovascular diseases is provided to suppress MAO-A(monoamine oxidase)-A.CONSTITUTION: A novel chalcone compound pyrazoylynaphthalenol derivative is denoted by chemical formula 1. The derivative is 1-(1-(4-fluorophenyl)-5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)naphthalen-2-ol. The derivative suppresses MAO-A. A method for preparing the derivative comprises: a step of reacting 2-hydroxy-1-acetonaphthone and 4-trimethoxybenzaldehyde under the presence of a base to prepare a chalcone compound, 4,5-benzo-1-hydroxy-4`-methoxycalcone and a step of reacting the chalcone compounds with 4-fluorophenylhydrazine to prepare pyrazoylylnaphthalenol derivative 1-(4-fluorophenyl)-5-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4,5-dehydro-1H-pyrazole-3-yl-naphthalene-2-ol.
