PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection needle protection device in which a shield tube is brought into a movable state to a needle hub by turning the injection needle protection device containing an injection needle in a direction screwing (attaching) it to a tip of a syringe body, and the shield tube is brought into a movement restricted state to the needle hub by turning the injection needle protection device in an opposite direction (removing direction) to the screwing direction.SOLUTION: A injection needle protection device is configured such that the locking between a locked part 53 of a locking member 5 and a lock opening part 42 of a shield tube 4 is released (a lock operating state is released) by turning in one direction a lock release part 62 provided on a tip of a syringe body, and the shield tube 4 is brought into a movable state to a needle hub 3. Alternatively, the locked part 53 of the locking member 5 is locked to the lock opening part 42 of the shield tube 4 by turning the lock release part in the other direction, and is brought into the lock operating state from a state where the lock operating state is released, thereby the shield tube 4 is brought into a movement restricted state to the needle hub 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
