PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a transparentized amnion solving the following problems: amelioration of reduced visual acuity after amnion transplantation due to poor transparency of the amnion while the amnion transplantation is broadly performed with the view of protection of the surface of the eye and that of wound-healing effect in the field of ophthalmology and development of transplantation material having high transparency, hardly causing symptoms of rejection and further bringing about amelioration effect equivalent of that of the amnion on the surface of the eye to cope with the problem of shortage of donors and that of symptoms of rejection in corneal transplantation.SOLUTION: The method for preparing a transparentized amnion having long-lasting transparency includes dehydrating an isolated amnion and subjecting the dehydrated amnion to a bridging treatment as necessary to prepare an amnion in which the collagen fiber-fiber distance is extremely short and the gaps between fibers are kept narrow even under wet physiological conditions.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、眼科分野においては眼表面の保護や創傷治癒効果を目的としてすでに羊膜移植が広く行われている反面、羊膜の透明性が低いことによる移植後の視力低下の改善を課題とする。また、角膜移植における、ドナー不足や拒絶反応の問題に対し、透明性が高く、拒絶反応を生じにくく、さらに羊膜同等の眼表面の治癒効果が得られる移植材料の開発を課題とする。【解決手段】単離された羊膜を脱水し、必要に応じて架橋処理を施すことにより、湿潤な生理条件でもコラーゲン線維間距離が極端に短く、間隙が狭い状態が維持され、透明性が持続する羊膜を調製する。【選択図】なし
