PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of visually discriminate a normal region from a lesion in the observation using autofluorescence, and capable of generating an image with suppressed decline of S/N.

SOLUTION: The image processor includes a subtraction processing part for generating an image by subtracting a reflection light image from a fluorescent image of the same region a brightness calculating part for calculating the brightness in respective local areas in the fluorescent image and in the reflection light image a first determining part for determining the contrast in each local area a second determining part for determining whether the brightness in one local area in the fluorescent image is similar to the brightness in the one local area in the reflection light image for each local area a gain adjusting part for adjusting the gain value in each local area based on the result of determination by the first determining part and the result of determination by the second determining part and a multiplication part for multiplying the gain value for each local area adjusted by the gain adjusting part to the image generated by the subtraction processing part.
