PURPOSE: A natural product extract for preventing and treating oral diseases is provided to suppress the growth of Streptococcus mutans which causes oral diseases to 50% or greater and to inhibit reactive oxygen species (ROS) to 50% or greater. CONSTITUTION: A natural product extract for preventing and treating oral diseases suppresses ROS and the growth of Streptococcus mutans to 50% or greater. The natural product extract is prepared from a natural product selected among Thuja orientalis L., Sparganium stoloniferum, and Ecklonia cava. The natural product extract is prepared by heating the natural product in water or alcohol, and concentrating the extract. The natural product is Thuja orientalis L. leaves, stems, or fruits. The content of the natural product extract is 500 ug/ml or higher for suppressing the growth of Streptococcus mutans to 50% or greater.
