PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial soil culture medium including a plurality of types of artificial soil particles which includes high water holding ability while maintaining air permeability, by which moisture can be supplied to a plant to be cultivated continuously for a long period of time.SOLUTION: There is provided an artificial soil culture medium 100 including first artificial soil particles 50a and second artificial soil particles 50b which have moisture absorbing/releasing characteristics and different sizes, in which the first artificial soil particles 50a are constituted to have higher moisture absorbing/releasing characteristics and a larger size than the second artificial soil particles 50b, the first artificial soil particles 50a are constituted as a fiber lump body formed by assembling fibers 1, and the second artificial soil particles 50b are constituted as a porous body formed by assembling fillers 2.
