Disclosed herein is a plasma treatment method comprising: providing a plasma source and a screen comprising a hydrogel and positioning the screen between the plasma source and a surface of a target to be treated with the plasma such that substantially all of the plasma from the plasma source passes through the screen prior to contacting the surface of the target and the screen reduces the concentration of one or more species from the plasma； and/or contacting a surface of a target to be treated with the gel composition comprising a gel forming material and a liquid phase comprising plasma activated liquid.L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement au plasma comprenant les étapes consistant à : fournir une source de plasma et un écran comprenant un hydrogel et positionner l'écran entre la source de plasma et une surface d'une cible à traiter avec le plasma de manière à ce que sensiblement tout le plasma provenant de la source de plasma passe à travers l'écran avant la mise en contact de la surface de la cible et l'écran réduit la concentration d'une ou de plusieurs espèces à partir du plasma； et/ou mettre en contact une surface d'une cible à traiter avec la composition de gel comprenant un matériau formant un gel et une phase liquide comprenant un liquide activé par plasma.
