Provided are an improved cell-permeable (iCP)-SOCS3 recombinant protein and uses thereof. Suppressor of cytokine signaling-3 (SOCS3) is an endogenous protein inhibitor of JAK/STAT pathway, and an aberrant expression of SOCS3 protein was observed in human solid tumors including gastric, colorectal and breast cancer, and glioblastoma.
