PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth axis estimation program enabling a computer to recognize a tooth axis of a tooth crown corresponding to crown shape data.SOLUTION: In a tooth axis estimation program, a point group for showing the surface of three-dimensional shape data is extracted from inputted three-dimensional shape data, and an arrangement relation in which an error between a point group included in some region in the extracted point group and three-dimensional shape data of the tooth becomes the smallest is calculated, by moving and/or rotating three-dimensional shape data of a tooth corresponding to the kind of a specific tooth, and a direction of the tooth included in the region is estimated based on the calculated arrangement relation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】冠形状データに対応する歯冠の歯軸をコンピュータに認識させることができる歯軸推定プログラムを提供する。【解決手段】歯軸推定プログラムでは、入力された３次元の形状データから、３次元の形状データの表面を示す点群を抽出し、特定の歯の種類に対応する歯の３次元の形状データを移動及び／又は回転させて、抽出した点群のうちいずれかの領域に含まれる点群と、歯の３次元の形状データとの誤差が最も少なくなる配置関係を算出し、算出した配置関係に基づいて、領域に含まれる歯の方向を推定する。【選択図】図３
