Injection device comprising: a medicine chamber within a syringe body a two-piece nested / telescoping plunger movably engaged within the syringe-body, the telescoping plunger comprising a plunger body and a plunger extension and a needle movably engaged with the syringe body. The injection-device expands from a storage position fig.7 to a deployment position fig.8, thereby expanding the telescoping plunger so making it capable of delivering the medicine chambers contents through the needle to a body by depressing the telescoping plunger. The injection-device may include a retractable needle depth cover 3, movably engaged with the syringe body and that surrounds the needle when in a storage position. Depth cover 3 may retract to a pre-set depth to limit the needles penetrative depth of entry into the body. Depth cover 3 may return to its fully extended position on removing the injection-device from the body, thereby shielding the needles sharp end. The injection-device may comprise a pull plug removably engaged with the needles sharp end. A switch may control the movement of the device from the storage position to the deployed position. A portion of the needle may be positioned within the medicine chamber when the injection-device is in the storage position.
