PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising/display device for a foliage plant in which many foliage plants are stored in the device, the many foliage plants can be raised by automatic watering, which can achieve both improvement of appearance quality of an inner wall of a building and improvement of atmosphere in a room.SOLUTION: A transparent or semitransparent panel is installed in a vertical manner, plural horizontal shelves are arranged in a vertical direction in a front surface at a prescribed interval for providing a display shelf with a panel. Holes are provided at an interval in a horizontal direction on each shelf, and a planting container is mounted on each hole position. A hole is provided on a center of a bottom part of the planting container and into which a pipe with a flange is inserted, then a chain is suspended inside, so that water in a planting container on an upper stage is dropped into a planting container on a lower stage through the chain. A puddle water reception part is arranged on a lower part for receiving water which drops on a plate-shaped panel, and water which drops from the planting container on a lowermost stage through the chain. A water supply box is mounted on an upper shelf above an uppermost stage shelf, and water is made to drop from a slit which is extended in a lateral width direction provided on a back surface side wall, for making the water drop through the plate-shaped panel back surface.
