PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit driving force of a drive source to a user, when the drive source of a drive mechanism of a lumbar part assist device is operated.SOLUTION: A lumbar part assist device includes: an upper body support part 20 for supporting an upper body of a user an inferior limb fitting part 40 to be fitted to an inferior limb of the user joint parts 45A and 45B for rotatably linking a back fitting part 10 with the inferior limb fitting part 40 in a direction corresponding to an anteflexion movement of the user a waist part fitting part 30 for fixing the joint parts 45A and 45B to a waist part lateral side of the human body and a drive mechanism 50 for applying force that raises the upper body of the user bending forward in an operating state, to the back fitting part 10 and the upper body support part 20.
