The invention relates to a dental implant (1) intended to be implanted in the bone tissue of a mandible or maxilla. The dental implant (1) according to the invention comprises: - a lower part (2), called the implant body, intended to be secured in a bone tissue of a mandible or maxillary； an upper part (3), called a pillar, intended to receive a dental prosthesis； an intermediate part (4) originating at the top of said lower part (2) and flaring towards said upper part (3). The peripheral surface of said intermediate portion (4) has a groove (5). The dental implant according to the invention finds a particularly interesting application in the field of implant surgery.L'invention concerne un implant dentaire (1) destiné à être implanté dans le tissu osseux d'une mandibule ou d'un maxillaire. La surface périphérique de ladite partie intermédiaire (4) présente une gorge (5).
